Delay and Site Explanation

I want to explain the delay at happlescomic a bit more. My laptop's hard drive decided it was tired of the same old copying and pasting, and so it gave up and fried. I lost a lot of important files, but luckily I was able to remake them. On the field of drawing, my Copic markers are missing! I have a pile of comics, but I can't finish them up! I ordered a new set, and they'll be here when the snow stops... I also ordered a new hard drive that should get here soon, but hopefully this one will be more optimistic. So, I would like to thank you for your cooperation and patience. (Even though you're probably not being either.) Just remember that I'm mad too. I didn't want my hard drive to crash or for my markers to disappear. Well, I hope you enjoy the snow if you live in the mid-Atlantic.

I want to explain the comic a bit as well. The site will contain two different series. The first series is the story, and this will be a drawn out storyline that is more serious, and has some nifty action, but of course humor will be there. The second series is random. This is more of a... CaH-style strip that contains no real plot and just a humorous conflict or situation or dialogue. I'll start uploading both series once my hard drive and markers arrive, but with this blasted snow that's not likely to be this week.

On another note, the 404um will be the organized, goal-driven forum. This will be where competitions, real discussions, and other events will take place. However, I'm currently creating a system of imageboards similar to 4chan or 7chan that will be for more... spiratic discussion. If you've never used an imageboard, basically someone uploads and image with a comment, and you reply to that or start a new thread either with just a comment or your own picture as well. Trust me, it's He- I mean it's great.
